As summer comes to a close, let's see what our members were up to!
Rho Eps could be found all across the globe. Chi O’s conquered Rome, Copenhagen, Greece, and beyond. Specifically, three Chi O’s were stationed together in Sicily, Italy, for a few weeks this summer!
Ally Amezcua, Maia Beth Farmer, and Kenley Rockvam traveled to various cities in Sicily together, learning and growing through each adventure. Ally told us that “Traveling to Sicily, Italy with my Chi O sisters was nothing short of amazing. We learned all about their traditions, systems, and the authentic Sicilian culture!”.
While some Chi O’s spent some time abroad, others supported each other as they strove to achieve their greatest goals.
Two of our senior Rho Ep’s, Anna Claire Taylor and Carlee Lamb, spent the summer under the same roof. Therefore, each was able to help the other as they worked towards their goals. Anna Claire explained that, “it was a really awesome experience getting to live with Carlee this summer, and I am so thankful for her consistent support and fun attitude!” When asked about the two’s summer adventures, Carlee stated, “Living with Anna Claire this summer was such a wonderful time. She is always a fun and encouraging person. I wouldn’t trade my summer with her and my other Chi O roommates for the world”.
Rho Ep’s accomplished their individual goals, but also, a major chapter goal this summer. Our chapter received the Founders Cup at the 2024 Chi Omega National Convention. This award is the highest honor a Chi Omega Chapter may be bestowed with. This is the sixth Founders Cup Award in a row that the Rho Epsilon Chapter has received. Chi Omega Rho Epsilon president Izzy Gunderson stated “Rho Epsilon achieved a remarkable feat once again receiving Chi Omega’s highest honor! This showcases our chapters enduring commitment to excellence and sisterhood”.
While these accomplishments and experiences alone are widely impressive, we are just grateful to share these special experiences and achievements with our Chi O sisters.
